Musto, Bodrum

Musto is one of those casual eateries with few pretenses, making it a charming place to meet friends for a drink and a bite. A local favorite, it’s rare not to find a crowd at this highly likable little spot. A long and detailed menu ensures everyone will find something that they like. To play it safe, choose from the pasta or salad list. For more adventurous offerings, choose one of the menu’s standouts, such as foie gras sushi or “crispy mushroom” (layers of crunchy yufka pastry buried under three types of mushrooms in aromatic sauce). These are the dishes that Musto takes risks with, and the long hungry lines queuing for a table prove the place is on the right track with its culinary experiments.

In addition to the extensive menu, a full bar is available. For those who can’t make up their minds, we suggest one of the locally-produced beers. There are a variety of delicious locally brewed beers to choose from, and drinks sell out particularly fast on weekends. Very (and we mean very!) busy during dinner service — reservation is an absolute must.

Open daily 8am–3am. Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi No.130, Bodrum; T: 0252 313 33 94; www.mustobistro.com
