Best hotels in Gündoğan

With a name that translates to sunrise, Gündoğan was once mainly residential and, despite the new hotel properties, remains a peaceful and laid-back escape. Still an active fishing village, Gündoğan is also known for sponge diving and its olive and citrus groves. The surrounding hills are covered in pine forests, which makes for good hiking and sightseeing when the allure of the beach begins to run thin.
