Nightlife in Bodrum: where to drink, dance, and party
Once the sun goes down, there are still plenty of great places to explore for the perfect summer evening. Check out the best bars to get craft cocktails and nightclubs to dance until the sun comes up.

Dada Salon

Stepping into the beautifully-decorated Dada Salon brings to mind the glamorous 1920s era. This also happens to be when the Dada art movement (which the location takes its name after), flourished and the venue aims to pay homage to this era, acting as a meeting point for culture lovers, with an events agenda filled with live music, curated performances and exhibitions.

Established by Turkish actor and talk show host Okan Bayülgen, Dada definitely makes a long-awaited difference on the ever-popular “bar street” of Bodrum, offering unmatchable ambiance and smart music. The conceptual drinks menu offers half a dozen of signature cocktails, named after the main representatives of the Dada movement, such as Man Ray and Hans Arp. They may come off as pricey even for Istanbulites (65TL a pop!), but they also excellently complement the mood of the two-storey space, where a copper bathtub takes center stage in the lounge area. A must-visit for curious vacationers and locals alike.

Open from 8pm; closed Mondays. Çarşı Mahallesi, Dr. Alim Bey Sokak No.44, Bodrum; T: (0252) 316 00 38; @dadasalonbodrum

Gekko Cocktail & Whisky

Opened in 2016, Gekko Cocktail & Whisky has quickly become a local favorite. The venue owes this success to its authentic architecture and craft cocktails. Located at Barlar Sokağı, Gekko uses a renovated sponge warehouse. Co-owner Ertan Engin oversees the bar to serve high-quality tipples all night long. Whisky- and gin-based cocktails stand out on the menu. So you will be sipping your favorite cocktail at a place that is true to the town’s spirit. The night at Gekko starts with soft tunes and progresses into upbeat and catchy tunes to make you dance until the sun rises.
